The Wand+ is based on an award winning tone-arm design from New Zealand. The brainchild of Simon Brown from designbuildlisten.com The original Wand has received 2 five star reviews in Hi-Fi Choice and Hi-Fi World magazines. This tone-arm simply performs way above it’s price point and is a marvel of modern engineering. The original wand can be purchased direct from New Zealand, however Mains Cables R Us now stock an even better model named The Wand+.
The Wand+ builds on the strengths of the original wand and incorporates many improvements including a cueing device as well as pure silver arm wiring, another feature is an RCA inlet device underneath the arm base which allows connection to your phono stage using standard RCA leads, up-grades can be chosen at time of ordering. As standard the wand+ is supplied with a complete loom from cartridge tags direct to RCA plugs using pure silver cable and eichmann silver bullet rca plugs.
The Wand+ is on permanent demo in our Huddersfield showroom fitted to a Garrard 401 turntable and Ortofon Kontrapunkt B cartridge. £695 on the MCRU website now.
