Have just installed a couple of these in my Rega Isis and Osiris mains leads. Ive previously been using Russ Andrews Superfuses and straight out of the box the Synergistic Research Blacks were not quite as good as the Russ Andrews ones.
But having read about them needing 20+ hrs running in , I left them running overnight.
Well I’ve now got 10hrs on them and the transformation is mind-boggling , a massive improvement in the sound. Even now they are way way better than the Russ Andrews. If they continue to improve all the better.
Yes its just a fuse and how it does what it does do , I’ve no idea , but you only have to listen to understand.
Yes they are expensive , but worth every penny.
