This high quality UK 13A 3 pin plug has been designed to be used with audio equipment power cables for the best power transmission with no compromises. All the electrical parts (polished pins and all internal parts) are made from premium quality copper, the Fuse Clips are made of high spring rate Phosphor Bronze – and supplied fitted with a high quality 13A silver plated fuse.
The patented design allows for easy cable fitting (instructions provided) and the ease of cable fitting cannot be under estimated, some other brands are difficult to wire up with thicker cables.
The plug casing is manufactured from nylon material, offering durability, high insulation, light weight and good looks.
The heavy duty mains wire-clamps design ensure an air tight connection to ensure perfect power transmission and also protect the power cable wires from damage over time – inferior plugs secure the cables by the grub screws twisting down onto the cable directly and can be prone to material ‘creep’ over time, causing damage.

3rd one I have bought in as many weeks. I love the inner cable routing and all plugs should be like this! Conductor terminals easily accommodate 6mm (10 gauge) unwieldy cables, though product spec says only 4mm.
Sound is as good as Furutech without the price tag. This on one end of an Oyaide Tunami and a silver LEGO on the other make a great sounding cable.
Four stars as delivery to Ireland could be a whole lot faster than 7-10 days.

Ordered this with a MCRU No 33 mains lead kit as I’d ordered a 33 kit before with the MCRU silver mains plug, which was very difficult to wire up. Much better design than the standard mains plug and very easy to wire up with thicker cable. Can’t vouch for the sound on its own, as it’s powering my new mains power purifier, but the overall sound has improved a lot.

Ordered these specifically for the cable clamping design, very easy to trim and route the individual wires as well. The silver plating is excellent and it just looks and feels so much better than trying to cram a chunky cable into a standard size plug. Also highly recommend going for the fuse upgrade saving money in the long run.

I ordered this with an Synergistic Research fuse upgrade but was sent a Hifi Tuning Supreme 3 fuse instead on David’s recommendation. It was able to accommodate my chunky Furutech lead with a iego IEC connector so definitely looked the part. I plugged it into my MCRU No 79 power block and used it on my Yamaha AS2100 amplifier. It sounded a little dark at first, but a few hours burning in and I was impressed . Bigger bass, more space between the instruments, more clarity and a quieter floor. My hifi has never sounded so good so a good value upgrade in my opinion. Certainly cheaper than an new amplifier!

This plug has become my default choice when building a new lead or mains block. I now have something like 10 of them on various leads attached to 7 Amps, 5 Cd players, 6 DACs and 4 mains blocks. I am a cheap skate by default which hopefully tells you something of the performance viz a viz value for money.
