Description

The MCRU reference turntable is for sale. Full specification below, this would have to be collected from our Huddersfield shop, no shipping as its too delicate. To purchase e-mail or telephone our shop 01484 538438 shop@mcru.co.uk

Garrard 401 motor unit recently serviced by Loricraft Audio, the 401 is installed in a beautiful bespoke plinth hand made by Carl Ellis, the plinth is supported by RDC cones and has an IEC inlet on the back panel to attach a mains lead (one will be provided).

The tone-arm fitted is a 12″ Jelco SA75oD which is brand new, it has the up-graded low slung counterweight for better sound quality and a shuggie collar for the centre arm locator. This is a custom made collar that replaces the standard Jelco collar and makes the arm sound better.

The arm has an Orsonic head-shell fitted (no cartridge is included we can fit your own or we have many available to add to the deck).

The Jelco arm has a pure silver tone-arm cable fitted terminated with RCA connectors.

There is an optional power supply which has been specially developed for idler drive turntable made by Longdog Audio (normally costs £895 but is available for £550 if buying the turntable at the same time).
