At MCRU we have listened to a substantial amount of loudspeaker cables over our many years as audiophiles and cable gurus.
Most cables will produce a good sound but some are better and some are worse than the average offerings.
We know of many cable designers but we have not come across many who have devoted most of their adult lives to the pursuit of knowledge of cables and the interaction with what they are connected to.
Dr Richard Bews of LFD fame makes his own cables, no mass production but all made individually by hand.
Simple to look at and they could easily be dismissed as there are no fancy markings or gimmicks offered at all.
Luckily there are audiophiles, many of whom are our customers and friends who don't judge a book by its cover.
