MCRU Audio Festival 17-18th August 2013

The MCRU Audio fest will take place on the weekend of 17th-18th August 2012 at the offices of MCRU in Huddersfield. We operate from home and will have three demo rooms open for the weekend where we invite audiophiles to pop round to enjoy some music (please feel free to bring an album or 2) and relax in the pleasant surroundings overlooking the grimescar valley. Refreshments will be provided and the proceedings begin at 10.00 a.m. We will have one room dedicated to the best in vinyl replay with a Clearaudio Performance DC turntable and an ebony cartridge from their range running through various phono stages into our Canor tube amplifier and Toppsounds Edingdale speakers. Cabling is Tellurium Q + MCRU. The 2nd system in our smaller dem room will feature a PC based server playing 24/192 and DSD music through the new Longdog Audio DAC. Snell speakers + Furutech cabling feature in this room. Canor amp and even a CD player! Our 3rd room is for IsoTek who will be demonstrating differences in mains conditioning and IsoTek M.D Keith Martin will be on hand to answer any mains questions you may have. We will be offering a free record cleaning service using a Clearaudio smart matrix RCM and record flattening using a Furutech LP flattener.
