MCRU Are Moving
Since our humble beginning we have seen a steady growth in sales and number of satisfied customers. MCRU are passionate about hifi and in turn are passionate about helping our customers achieve the same goals as us. Music can do many things when listened to on a good hifi system. It stirs the emotions and makes us feel happy.
If we can all get the “live concert” feeling in our own homes (listening room, mancave, shed, in fact the hifi can be anywhere to achieve that feeling) then that is MCRU’s ultimate aim.
We do this by helping you choose up-grades from our carefully selected range of specialist products. After 30+ years of owning and listening to hifi, MCRU’s owner David Brook knows a thing or two about system building, cables and general tweakery, if you have ever wondered as a visitor why certain brands are missing from the range its usually because we don’t rate them ourselves. The vast majority of items on the MCRU website have been used and experienced by us so we can safely make recommendations to our clients as we have heard and used the items in question.
A lotf of business’s usually start with a shed, a toolbox and a dream. Ours has gone from that to a 1500 sq feet industrial unit with distribution, sales and demo rooms with daily postal and courier collections and a large stocked selection of accessories, vinyl LP’s and hardware. The subject of this news article is “moving” which means a re-location to new premises in Huddersfield town centre. The location we have been fortunate enough to obtain is perfect for our needs. Literally a 1 minute walk from the train station, the road has its own council run car park and TeEscos supermarket is 100 yards away (not to mention a superb pub serving craft beers across the road)
The street itself is aptly named BROOK STREET, we thought it was too good an opportunity to miss as the Brook’s own MCRU. So we move into the “shop” in May 2017. Exact date to be announced.
For anyone familiar with the town centre here is our shop as it was before we began a complete renovation.
