Got Your New Turntable Home?

So, you went to your local hifi dealer or maybe just took a chance and read a review and ordered one via the web. What are we on about? A turntable of course!

The world’s biggest turntable maker is possibly Project Audio Systems, they churn out well over 10,000 turntables a month, well the world is a pretty big place, 7.4 billion people on the planet, plenty of turntables for everyone who wants one.

Get your prized purchase home and un-pack it, 90% of the time you will see this dreaded item inside the packaging….what am I referring to, the wall wart or the power brick, technically called a switch mode power supply. Even turntables costing £15,000 have them included, they provide power for the turntable which is usually 12V DC. They are cheap and do the job, sound quality wise though they can easily be bettered.

The improvements in sound quality that come from replacing the existing power plug with a regulated linear power supply can often be startling. The switch mode supply actually makes the rest of your system sound worse, replace it and hear what your hifi is truly capable of.

This is all proven by existing owners telling us how much better the sound quality is after fitting a linear PSU. Turntables costing £500 or ones costing £15,000 will all benefit, ditch the switch now and marvel at the increased sonics.

These power supplies are universal in what they do, providing your equipment with the purest possible voltage, we have the tests to prove it, they also improve the sound of DAC’s, routers, NAS drives, headphone amplifiers, streamers and anything else powered by DC voltage.
