MCRU No. 71 RCA Interconnects MKII
The MCRU 7 series of cables are amongst our best selling and best performing cables since we introduced them 2 years ago.
Hand made in our workshops in Yorkshire you are buying off the manufacturer compared to mass made products sold through distributors and dealers, we pride ourselves on quality and craftsmanship.
The No. 71 MKII uses the new AECO pure silver RCA connectors offering superb performance and as far as we know a unique internal geometry optimized for performance.
We don't ever skimp on materials with any of our cables, the No. 71 MKII uses pure silver single crystal OCC cable with our unique tweaks to give you the best sound quality available.
The entire cable is sheathed in carbon infused polyester sleeving to negate the effects of RFI.
Overall one of the best interconnects we can make and easily able to compete with other cables at far higher prices.
MCRU No. 75 Stereo RCA Cables
The MCRU 7 series of cables have proven to be a huge success with many hundreds sold to audiophiles all around the world. The No. 75 interconnect came about by request to make a similar cable materials wise to our No. 75 mains power lead. MCRU support many of the world's leading hifi accessory manufacturers and we consider Furutech of Japan to be amongst the very best. We have used Furutech products for over a decade and have not come across anything similar that offers the high end performance regardless of budget. We have terminated the No. 75 with Furutech FP-160 gold plated RCA connectors.

For our cable designs we look critically at the value aspect of every element incorporated into the design and construction. What area of investment makes a real difference to the sound and what is pointless eye candy.
Without any doubt vibration distortion as picked up by and transmitted by mains cables is the biggest undoing of any otherwise competently designed cable and that is where we start but of course our attention to detail extends to all of the materials content and to the terminations at each end. Also including a massive study of how to optimally screen against the widest bandwidth of electromagnetic disturbances not merely those easily screened by conventional materials and methods.

This cable takes our correctly placed obsession with vibration distortion, as collected by, and ruthlessly transmitted to the very heart of every system component by mains cords, to its ultimate conclusion.
Puritan Audio Laboratories Ultimate cable is so limp and floppy that it simply cannot carry vibrations. And yet it contains massive 41 Amp, ultra high purity, grain optimised copper conductors, enclosed in a super soft custom formulated silicone dielectric to which three uniquely developed nanotechnology membranes have been sequentially applied to form a complex shielding and neutralising barrier to the power lines, whilst a polycrystalline metals barrier along the entire length of the earth conductor neutralises ground line interferences. All of which technology is contained within a complex arrangement of anti-vibration pick up and dampening layers.
